An Update From Nicole + Sacred Rebel Tattoo

Getting back into the Flow

In July, I started tattooing again at a limited capacity as I heal my hand injuries. I'm excited to announce that my books are very much open for the Autumn season :)

This season of healing brought about so many important questions for me to sit with.

I had to remember, why am I here? What am I doing? How am I meant to show up in my work?

The answer was very clear...

I'm not here to compete with the other street shops in Sedona, I'm here because I offer an EXPERIENCE unlike the others.

I quickly realized, that I had allowed my business to start running ME, when it should have been the other way around all along.

I felt pressured to keep up with the walk-in demand, booking myself well over capacity. My body kept begging for a rest and my old scarcity wounds were pulling the strings.

"Just one more tattoo, it shouldn't take long..."

I started saying yes, when I needed to say no.

I fell into the trap of over delivering out of survival, feeling like if I didn't get Sacred Rebel Tattoo on the map, I would fail. And even worse yet, I felt obligated to offer the general public a better experience than what was out there, and that I would be letting them down if I hadn't taken the job.

"I just need a break! I could use a 2 month vacation!" I kept saying to myself... and yet somehow I forgotten that Spirit is always listening. Sacred Rebel Tattoo was only 6 months old...

"Your wish is my command..."

"I won't kill you, but I'll make sure you're fucking listening!"

Sedona always seems to have a way of amplifying manifestations, you gotta be careful out here! This was certainly one of the loudest messages of my life "you're heading in the wrong direction..."

My work isn't about how many tourists can I exploit, it's about how many people I can assist to remembering their own inner power, remembering their own unique mission, remembering their own sovereignty.

As we continue adjusting into the Age of Aquarius, every step forward shows us that old capitalistic ways of doing business are no longer sustainable. Doing all those tattoos solely for profit, it not what I was led here for.

My tattoos create a deeper level of awareness of the self, they empower the spirit and embody the intentions you are working with.

I deeply love tattooing, and I need to ensure that my process moving forwards remains in alignment with being a tattooer with intention.

Selectivity is important, and my physical condition gives me no other option.

I am prioritizing ceremonial, intuitive tattoos and artfully minded, customized work, and tattoos that honor tattooing. If it's not going to stand the test of time, it's a no go.

I'm not for everyone, but rather for anyone who aligns.

I'm currently booking by appointment. Every request gets screened through my new booking request form on my personal website prior to scheduling a consultation.

I have found that this slower and intentional approach allows me to connect deeper with my clients and ensure alignment from the first step.
